When is the best time to see warblers?
Spring migration, roughly late April through May in much of the US, when males are in bright breeding colors and singing. A warm morning after a night of south winds can drop dozens of species into a single patch of woods.
What is the most common backyard warbler?
The Yellow-rumped Warbler is the one many people see first: it lingers later and arrives earlier than most, and unlike other warblers it will visit feeders and eat berries through winter in the south.
