The Zempoaltepec Vole is an endemic vole of the Sierra de Zempoaltepec in Oaxaca, Mexico—one of the most restricted ranges of any North American vole. It inhabits high-altitude grasslands and forest edges in a mountain range isolated from other highland areas. Conservation concern is high given its extremely limited distribution.
