The White Oak Borer is a large longhorned beetle beautifully patterned with grayish-white and brown mosaic markings that camouflage it against oak bark. Its larvae bore into the heartwood of oaks, taking two years to complete development, and can structurally weaken large trees. The oval exit holes adults chew are an inch wide and distinctive.
