The White-dotted Prominent is a common oak-associated prominent moth with warm tan-brown wings accented by a conspicuous row of white dots along the forewing costa. Adults are frequently attracted to lights and are familiar spring and summer moths throughout the East. Their small caterpillars are green and feed on oak leaves.
