Cutleaf Coneflower is a tall native wildflower of moist forests and stream banks across eastern and central North America, reaching 6–10 feet with large deeply cut leaves and yellow flowers with drooping petals and a green cone. It spreads by rhizomes to form large colonies along streams. Bees and butterflies visit the flowers, and goldfinches eat the seeds.
