The Red-masked Parakeet has established feral populations in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and other California cities. The large flock in San Francisco was the subject of the documentary 'The Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill.' The brilliant red mask and green body are distinctive. It is native to Ecuador and Peru.
