The Pygmy Killer Whale is a rare, poorly known open-ocean dolphin occasionally sighted off the Pacific and Atlantic coasts of North America in tropical and warm-temperate waters. Despite its fearsome name, it is much smaller than the killer whale, reaching about 8 feet in length. It has been documented attacking other dolphin species and has an aggressive reputation among cetaceans.
