Allen's Olingo is a small, arboreal procyonid of tropical forests in Central America and Colombia, sometimes entering southern Mexico. It has a long, non-prehensile bushy tail and large eyes for nocturnal foraging in the forest canopy. Olingos are primarily frugivorous and are important seed dispersers in wet tropical forests.
