The Amazon River Dolphin, or boto, is the world's largest river dolphin and the only cetacean with a predominantly pink coloration in adults. Its flexible neck allows it to turn its head 90 degrees to maneuver in flooded forest and among submerged vegetation. It barely enters the North American continent through rivers of Colombia and Venezuela, and is listed as Endangered.
