Harris's Sparrow is the largest sparrow in North America and the only songbird that breeds exclusively in Canada. The breeding adult has a black crown, face, and bib that contrast with a white belly. It winters on the Great Plains in flocks with other sparrows, foraging in weedy fields and brushy areas.
