Spreading Globeflower is a rare native wildflower of cold, calcareous fens and wet meadows in the northeastern United States and Great Lakes region, with distinctive bowl-shaped pale yellow flowers. It is one of the rarest wildflowers in North America, found in only a handful of sites. Cold-water wetland drainage and development have severely reduced populations.
