The Spined Assassin Bug is a small, reddish-brown to dark assassin bug with conspicuous spines on its thorax and legs. It is an effective ambush predator commonly found on flowers waiting for visiting insects. Like all assassin bugs it can deliver a painful bite if carelessly handled.
