The Little Glassywing is a small, dark skipper named for the glassy, transparent quality of the pale spots on its forewing. It is one of several similar dark skippers that are challenging to distinguish in the field. Adults are found in moist meadows and grasslands, often nectaring at milkweed alongside larger, more conspicuous skippers. The caterpillar constructs leaf shelters on sedges.
