Heller's Broad-nosed Bat is a small, white-striped phyllostomid bat recognized by the white stripes running from its nose to the crown of its head and along its sides. It roosts in small groups under large leaves in tropical forest understory. This bat is an important disperser of pioneer plant seeds that help regenerate cleared tropical forest.
