Hoffmann's Two-toed Sloth is a large, shaggy sloth of tropical forests that hangs from branches upside down throughout its life, with two hook-like claws on the forefeet. Unlike three-toed sloths, it is more active nocturnally and has a more varied diet that includes fruit and flowers in addition to leaves. It inhabits forests from Central America through Colombia and Peru.
