The Furrow Orb Weaver is a medium-sized gray-and-brown spider with a distinctive foliate pattern on its abdomen and is commonly found on bridges, docks, and building walls near water. It is nocturnal, building and tending its orb web at night. Populations in urban areas can reach very high densities under artificial lights that attract prey.
