The White Ibis is a medium-sized wading bird with all-white plumage, a distinctive curved red bill and red face, and black wingtips visible in flight. It is one of the most abundant wading birds in the southeastern United States and a colonial nester in large rookeries. Flocks fly in long, undulating lines, alternating flaps and glides.
