The Six-spotted Fishing Spider is an aquatic semi-aquatic spider that walks on the water surface using surface tension and can dive to pursue aquatic prey. It is identified by the row of white spots along the sides of its abdomen — the 'six spots' — and olive-green dorsal coloration. It detects prey by sensing vibrations on the water surface with its legs.
