The Fall Armyworm Moth is one of the most economically destructive moths in the Americas. Its caterpillars are true 'armyworms' — gregarious larvae that march in dense bands across fields devouring every grass plant in their path. Adult moths migrate seasonally across North America, colonizing northern crops each summer. Larvae are identifiable by a distinctive inverted Y on the head.
