Desert Peach is a thorny native shrub of the Great Basin desert, producing masses of pink blossoms in early spring that are among the first wildflowers to bloom in the high desert. Its small, dry, fuzzy peach-like fruits provide food for mule deer, coyotes, and many birds. Native bees are important early-season pollinators.
