The Bold Jumping Spider is one of the most frequently encountered jumping spiders in North America, with a black body marked by white spots and bands and stunning iridescent green chelicerae. Its large forward-facing eyes give it exceptional visual acuity that it uses in complex courtship dances and precise prey stalking. It is curious, often rotating its body to watch observers, and is generally harmless and nonaggressive.
