The Dark-spotted Palthis is a small, triangular-winged moth that holds its wings in a distinctive tented posture at rest, resembling a dead leaf. Its brown, line-patterned wings provide excellent bark and leaf-litter camouflage. It is abundant at lights throughout summer and found across a wide range of wooded habitats.
