Brewer's Blackbird is a glossy, iridescent blackbird of open western habitats that has expanded eastward over the past century. Males have glossy purplish-green iridescence and yellow eyes; females are brown with dark eyes. It is highly adaptable, foraging in parking lots, farm fields, and city parks across western North America.
