Sea-coast Angelica is a tall wildflower in the carrot family found on coastal cliffs, beaches, and tundra from Alaska to California and around the North Pacific. Its flat-topped flower clusters are visited by many insects, and the young stems were eaten by indigenous coastal peoples. It provides important nectar in coastal habitats with few other wildflower options.
