Seacoast Bluestem is a native grass of coastal dunes and sandy Atlantic coastal plain habitats, one of the dominant grasses of stabilized dune systems from New England to Florida. It provides ground cover on erosion-prone sandy soils and food and nesting material for many coastal birds.
