Riverbank Grape is a native vine of stream banks and forest edges that climbs to the canopy with dense, heart-shaped leaves. Its small, tart grapes ripen in late summer and fall and are consumed by an extraordinary number of wildlife species, including over 100 species of birds. The vine provides important cover and nest sites in riparian habitats.
