Blue Sage is a tall native prairie wildflower with brilliant sky-blue flowers in late summer that are visited by migrating monarchs and a wide variety of native bees. It grows on dry prairies and plains from the Midwest to Florida. It is an important late-season nectar plant and indicator of high-quality prairie habitat.
