Virginia Mountain Mint is a strongly aromatic native perennial of moist prairies and meadows, one of the most important pollinator plants in the eastern United States. The small white flower heads attract an astonishing diversity of native bees, wasps, butterflies, beetles, and other insects. A single plant in full bloom in August can host dozens of insect species simultaneously.
