The Orange-barred Sulphur is a large, tropical sulphur with vivid orange-yellow males bearing a broad orange forewing bar and orange hindwings with deeper orange flush — one of the most colorful sulphurs. It is a regular stray northward from Florida and occasionally breeds in gardens with senna. Adults are powerful, fast fliers.
