The Michoacan Deer Mouse is a monotypic genus of deer mouse found in coastal tropical forests of Michoacan and Guerrero states in Mexico. It is one of several 'island species' of rodents associated with the isolated coastal plain forests of western Mexico. Very little ecological information has been published for this species.
