Bristly Nama is a native annual wildflower of the Sonoran and Mojave deserts, producing small purple-pink flowers on low, spreading plants after winter rains. In good years, it can carpet desert flats and washes with color as part of spectacular desert wildflower displays. Native bees visit the flowers for pollen and nectar.
