Columbia Lily is a brilliant orange-spotted wildflower of Pacific Northwest forest openings and meadows, with strongly recurved petals that expose the stamens to visiting hummingbirds and bumblebees. It grows from a scaly bulb that was an important food for indigenous peoples. The vivid flowers are one of the highlights of summer meadows in the Pacific Northwest.
