The Magnificent Frigatebird is a spectacular, long-winged seabird with the highest wingspan-to-body-weight ratio of any bird in the world. Males have a brilliant red throat pouch that they inflate to a balloon-like size in elaborate courtship displays. It is a kleptoparasite that regularly forces other seabirds to drop or regurgitate their catches, which it then snatches in mid-air.
