The Dreamy Duskywing is one of the smaller eastern duskywing skippers, with brown-and-gray mottled wings and no glassy spots on the forewing — a useful field mark. It is one of the earliest skippers to fly in spring, often appearing before leaves open. Adults perch and bask on roads and trails with wings spread flat.
