The Azalea Sphinx is a small, colorful hawk moth with rose-pink hindwings and a chunky, olive-brown body. Adults fly at dusk and are often mistaken for hummingbirds as they hover at flowers. The fat green caterpillar feeds on viburnum and blueberry and pupates underground.
