The Pigeon Guillemot is the Pacific counterpart of the Black Guillemot, with the same bold white wing patches and bright red feet. It differs in having a black wedge in the white wing patch. It nests in rock crevices and burrows near the sea and is found year-round in nearshore Pacific Coast waters.
