Blueblossom is the largest native Ceanothus, growing as a tree up to 20 feet tall along the California and southern Oregon coast. It produces stunning masses of sky-blue to white flowers in spring that are powerfully fragrant. It is one of the most important early-season nectar plants for native bees and hummingbirds in coastal California habitats.
